*NEW Jupiter in Capricorn for 2020

Jupiter enters Capricorn on December 2, 2019 at 1:19 pm ET.

Jupiter will be in Capricorn until December 19, 2020.

Now that Jupiter is entering Capricorn he will be joining two major astrological power players, Saturn and Pluto in this sign of powerful influence.

The last time Jupiter was in Capricorn was at the end of 2007 and in 2008. Interestingly this was when we saw the global financial crisis as a major influencing factor on our society. At that time:

  • Saturn was in Scorpio (which rules debt, mortgages and the banking industry). Saturn restricts, creates limitations and demands responsibility, rules karmic debts and time. Saturn is the reaper.
  • Pluto (the ruler of Scorpio) was transiting from Sagittarius into Capricorn, indicating worldwide transformation that would impact the world of finance and politics.

This is going to be a big year ahead! Since Jupiter emphasizes, increases and brings greater attention to the sign he is in we can expect some expansion of powerful transformation of our world to grow.

Symbolically, as a Transpersonal Planet, Jupiter is considered to be more influential on the larger picture of society with themes that affect all our lives worldwide as a collective. Jupiter takes a little over a year to transit through a sign, while Saturn has a longer term influence taking around 2.5 years of transit through each sign. Pluto has even greater influence on societal shifts as he can take 15 years or more to transit a sign. The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was about 250 years ago! These are unique times we are living in and the transformations we are going through have been a long time coming.

The Personal Perspective:

On a personal level, Jupiter in Capricorn brings emphasis to growing your career and believing in your ability to grow into your greatest potential in 2020. With an open mind, hard work, and believing in yourself, you can reach your goals.

Jupiter is about honest awareness, and in Capricorn over this year, asking yourself questions about what is holding you back and why, will help you to become wiser so you can make the best decisions for your growth. Becoming more conscious of your internal and external obstacles is essential in 2020 to get you to the next level.

Releasing self doubts, believing in your potential and pushing hard to overcome obstacles and fears Saturn and Pluto can symbolize, will help you raise yourself up to living your higher truth and lead you to grow into what you really want to accomplish with your life.

This is a good time to work with older, wiser, experienced people to help you develop your career. Creating positive relationships with authorities and successful people in your field can help you climb the ladder of success.

Those of you that would like to be positive role models and to have a stronger public image could find greater success at this time. Those that are highly career oriented could find themselves reaching a broader audience, and potentially gaining fame and recognition in their field. However, those that are overly confident, vain and narcissistic could find themselves pushing self glorifying attitudes to extremes, that it can become a big turn off for audiences.

If you are an up and comer, seeking role models that are true to themselves, are honest and have overcome adversity can inspire you to be your best.

A strong work ethic is important, but, workaholics should be careful as they could end up overdoing it and burning out by pushing themselves too hard against obstacles, forcing deadlines and scheduling long days to reach their goals.

Where you feel luckiest, most talented and most inspired is where you should expand your skills and abilities during this period for best results. Don’t let doubters and naysayers that don’t believe in themselves or you, hold you back from doing what you feel is calling you. Your positive attitude can help you beat the odds and rise to new heights. Tap into that positive Jupiter energy to help you manifest success.

Your perspective on your goals are likely to transform significantly as well during this period. Questions like, “Why am I reaching for this? Why do I believe I want this? Are my goals simply materialistic, or are they based on higher ideals, spiritual goals, or a higher purpose for my life?” are worth considering now.

Because Jupiter speaks to the larger worldview, this horoscope is less about the personal influences of Jupiter in Capricorn and more about societal considerations the time period ahead represents.

The Societal and Collective Perspective:

Jupiter is the Roman equivalent to the Greek Zeus. He is the King of the Gods with far reaching authority and power. His symbols are most notably the Lightning Bolt and Eagle, as well as the bull, oak and royal scepter. He is associated with great power and royalty and considered the god of the sky, clouds and winds and is concerned with humanity, law and order, and demands justice. He is also associated with fate.

Jupiter is considered to be a most benefic planet, but with Pluto and Saturn in the picture, there is going to be a lot of push back and complexities during this period.

Jupiter is also considered to be in Fall in Capricorn because Saturn the restrictor is the ruler of Capricorn. Jupiter likes to expand but Saturn will demand limitations and will place obstructions in Jupiter’s way in cooler Capricorn.

Saturn is the Roman equivalent to the Greek Chronos. As the ruler of time, Saturn requires things to occur step by step in a process of time. Saturn likes structure and rules. This could create a more gradual development of expansive shifts than what we would see with Jupiter in fiery Sagittarius. The positive changes may not be so obvious right away, but they will develop, and once they are realized, they will have long lasting influence.

Jupiter loves to learn the truth. He is the judge that values fairness and justice. He has wisdom. His lightning bolt strikes down wrongdoers. He supports the good and detests lies.

The positive opportunity of this time is to come to huge realizations about our world so we can make better choices and hopefully transform the world into a better place.

Jupiter brings attention to our beliefs, and is highly concerned with justice, ethics, morals and our worldviews. He is closely associated to journalism, the media and information that is disseminated to the masses and spread around the globe that manifests into the collective consciousness of beliefs about our world.

As Jupiter is concerned with with information that influences collective beliefs, we can expect emphasis to brought toward the operations of religious and educational organizations.

We have already seen a lot of exposure while Jupiter was in Sagittarius, the sign he rules. Great attention has been brought to the practices of journalism, the media, the legal system and politics in 2019. The shenanigans going on have been wildly  obvious.

What is true and what is not has been hugely on the radar as the alternative media and the corporate media have been battling out a plethora of narratives around Fake News. A lot of people don’t know what to think or believe anymore as information is skewed and altered swiftly according to an intended narrative to be projected into the world to influence the beliefs of the masses. Bias has been of huge consideration ever since Jupiter was in Libra.

Operations of dirty politics and corporate powers-that-be have been undeniable with Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn for some time now. This will get even more emphasis as Jupiter joins here. Saturn adds pressure in Capricorn as he demands responsibility for karmic deeds, while Jupiter, the king of fate and justice, will bring greater awareness to the wrongdoings in all these high power areas. It’s going to be big, bumpy ride as the forces of these influential powerhouses merge powers in Capricorn!

Sagittarius and Capricorn both factor in the political world, like two sides of the same coin. Whereas Sagittarius is more about the thoughts and ideas that form laws and beliefs of the judicial system and political world, Capricorn is more about the powerful authority figures and the formal, organized structural systems set in place that enforce and implement the rules that governs over the masses. Police and military power is also associated here as part of the top-down power structure.

Politically, Sagittarius would be more closely associated to socialism and communism as more indicative of collective social groups, whereas Capricorn would be more about capitalism, corporatism, individual power and authorities. But in any case, at the end of the day, we know that all political structures operate from an authoritative leadership from the top down which makes all the rules for the rest of the people down the ladder.

In any case for any political ideology, it is wise to be wary of those at the top that say they are working on behalf of the masses, because evidence has shown throughout history nearly all political systems and leadership, no matter how convincing and good they look on paper, operate with a “rules for thee but not for me” approach.

Capricorn signifies anyone that has climbed to the top of the proverbial mountain, whether it is a famous person, someone that has reached the top of their career, a leader or boss in a business, a corporate authority like central banking institutions, government rulership, or the King or Queen of a Monarchy. It is about worldly success and the power that is granted to those at the top of their game.

The people at the top of the echelons of power, the rich, the powerful, the elite, the oligarchs, will all be getting even more attention for their powerful roles in how the world is governed and organized from the top of the pyramid down.

As mentioned, with Jupiter now in Capricorn with cosmic power players Saturn and Pluto, Jupiter is going to bring greater emphasis to the systems and structures of authority that rule over our lives, emphasizing political authority, religious authority, and of course the financial system since money pretty much rules the lives of humanity worldwide.

Much will be revealed over time and we can certainly expect terms like “Revelations” to be said frequently in 2020. A desire for the truth to be exposed will only increase with Jupiter in Capricorn. We can expect lots more dirt and corruption to be revealed about those that are at the top and in power all across the globe.

Though these topics have already been getting plenty of attention with Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn already, but Jupiter will make everything even more obvious.

Pluto is the Roman equivalent to the Greek Hades and is considered the higher octave of Mars in astrology. As such, Pluto reveals the dirt, the underbelly, and is on a mission to purge, clean up and punish all that goes on with the rich, powerful, influential players in the world.

Those in the public eye that have hidden agendas or play dirty behind the scenes to climb the ladder or gain authority and high positions are likely to have the truth come out which will not help their career and could potentially cause major damage to their reputation.

Trust in authority figures in politics, religious organizations, corporate power houses, media and social media organizations are likely to change significantly during this period. Organizations and authority figures that give themselves permission to dominate others could see a backlash as the complexities of Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto in Capricorn are emphasized.

We can expect to see groups rise up against tyranny during this period. We can also expect to see individuals that stand up against authority to get a lot more attention and support but it is likely to be a slower, more gradual process in Capricorn.

But of course we know that the powers that be will never go quietly. When one has power or when many have power working together as a group to dominate and usurp, they certainly want to keep their stronghold, and will do just about anything and everything they can to prevent themselves from losing it, no matter how diabolical and nefarious.

The restrictions, limitations, control measures and changes the powerful authoritative figures are implementing into our society at this time will open a lot of eyes and change our perspective on how the world really operates. Many more people will start to see the truth. What we have long been led to believe about how the world is structured and organized, is going to transform.

As Jupiter wants the truth, law, justice and fairness, and grand lies and deceptions will be exposed thanks to Pluto, wee are most likely to be witness to the grand manipulative, controlling methods those in power positions implement onto our world to influence our lives as a collective.

All these factors together are highly symbolic of a Plutocratic Big Brother system and a collective group of powerful authority figures.

By becoming aware of how dark things really are behind the scenes, thanks to Pluto, we will wake up, and Jupiter will expand our awareness to new heights.

Capricorn is an Earth sign. With Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto here we are likely to see grand transformation of paradigm shifts as people seek truth and have mistrust in authority. Another topic we are likely to hear more about will be the Flat Earth Theory. Concepts around the truth and beliefs of the world we live on will be challenged and questioned with big ideas spreading. More people that do not trust the narrative by the authorities will question what is an illusion or not.

In terms of beliefs, Jupiter was the ancient ruler of the highly spiritual sign of Pisces. Once Neptune was discovered, Neptune became the modern ruler of Pisces and Jupiter is now considered a co-ruler with Neptune.

Neptune is currently in Pisces adding to the illusions and secrets we are becoming aware of in our world. Now Jupiter in Capricorn is going to help bring more out in the open to raise awareness and hopefully raise consciousness.

With all these factors combined we can expect even bigger transformations and purges of corruption in the higher echelons of society where the billionaires and bankers rule.

Jupiter will in positive connection with Uranus in Taurus on December 15, 2019 signifying the possibility of much talk about money, the economy, the stock market as well as worldwide environmental considerations. You may also want to read more about Uranus in Taurus, Capricorn’s fellow earth sign.

We are likely to see an interest in an expanded worldview in terms of religious and spiritual beliefs while Jupiter is in Capricorn. As people seek to expand their consciousness and move away from negativity imposed by authority figures, the oppressive aspects of religions are likely to be rejected.

Exposure of corrupt leaders and authority figures in religious organization is likely to draw greater attention and consequences during this period. The naive and unsuspecting will be quite surprised at how the hierarchical structure of society is organized.

Cults and religious organizations that manipulate, suppress or abuse people could be revealed for their deeds, while a more expansive perspective on spirituality, freedom and higher consciousness that is based on universal, higher truths and naturally instinctive ethics and morals could find more interest.

As more messiness is revealed we can expect more people to turn to new spiritual perspectives that are elevating and enlightening to make sense of their lives.

  1. Thankyou so much!
We need all the pieces of guidance we can attain at the
moment .With Neptune in Pisces,we have to carefully
    wade through the ethers while
watching for fun loving Dolphins or predatory sharks!
    Not always easy to distinguish.
What a modern tapestry looks like.

  2. I recently saw this funny fantasy comedy movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger (named Arnold Strong “Mr. Universe” at the time), Hercules in New York from 1969. Arnold was only 22 at the time.

I thought some of you may find it a fun watch as it depicts Zeus/Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, Pluto, Hera, Nemesis, Juno… “When Zeus banishes Hercules to Earth, he decides to amuse himself by becoming a bodybuilder, but he struggles to adapt to life in New York City.”

I just discovered TubiTV streaming through Roku. It’s a free channel with a lot of vintage films and they play for free as they are ad supported. I’m not a fan of ads, but they are short and not that frequent so they are totally tolerable relative to the variety of high resolution films available. Lots of corny 70s and 80s films.

    Watch Here: https://tubitv.com/movies/321122/hercules_in_new_york
