What a start to 2020!

What happened so far, in January 2020?

Well the big astrology news was that Saturn and Pluto met in Capricorn. They are still quite close and this is a longer term trend, but what a hard hitting January with some major significant events. Of course we knew that there would be big news, changes and events in January 2020…

A lot of people I know have experienced major swings already in 2020, with dramatic and challenging events in their personal lives.

Right off the bat, the issue with Iran had a lot of people freaking for a few days, of course with the automatic assumption that WW3 was about to begin. Saturn and Pluto meeting in Capricorn certainly does indicate increased fear, they are the two most malefic planets in astrology after all. Politics is always a mess!

We also had an increase in Earthquakes and Volcanic activity in January to be expected as Uranus stationed Direct in Taurus.

Harry and Meghan announced they were leaving Buckingham Palace changing the family dynamic at the top level of society just in time for the Full Moon in Cancer – I wrote a post about that here. Plus, something people haven’t been talking about is that Queen Elizabeth is likely to be stepping down at 95, which will be in 2021. She isn’t likely to abdicate her throne, but rather ceding power to Prince Charles. Maybe that has something to do with all this. Perhaps, if Prince Charles becomes King, it may not be a desirable situation for Harry and Meghan. However, there are so many factors we don’t know about, so for now, it’s merely speculation.

Impeachment. The timing so close to Saturn and Pluto conjunct in Capricorn is not surprising. Considering Saturn is all about blockages and restriction, and Pluto is about destruction and transformation, and Capricorn rules the realm of politics and the top echelon of society and rulership, such a thing happening in the political arena at this time is in line with the symbolism. Plus, Jupiter in Capricorn adds emphasis and legal considerations but also exaggerations. I don’t think anyone should be surprised that there are revelations of corruption on numerous levels of those in political governance?

CoronaVirus. Well this is certainly getting everyone concerned. What else can we expect with Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn but a whole lot of world changing events? Borders closing around the world, with lockdowns due to fear of death… that’s the extreme side of Saturn meeting Pluto in Capricorn so it’s right on time! Jupiter symbolizes a big deal in the media worldwide. We now also see how flying drones are following people in China and telling them to go home and put on their masks, likely with facial recognition technology as well for their social credit system, which shows us we’re a step closer to that bizarre, controlling, technological, big brother world as indicated by Uranus in Taurus, Mercury in Aquarius, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn.

Brexit. This has been a long process, and now the influences of change and separation will become more evident. Yet again, Saturn and Pluto, as well as Jupiter indicate major transformations and shifts regarding authoritarian, bureaucratic restrictions in the realm of politics. Uranus in Taurus also indicates a desire for freedom, and a symbolic separation of lands can bring that sense of independence a lot of people want.

New February 2020 Astrology Updates

The Month of February starts off with the Moon conjunct Uranus in Taurus indicating a growing interest in freedom moving forward. Considering Brexit starts off the month, and the Impeachment hearings are expected to be just about finished, new major changes and rebellion are with us.

We could also see more significance on an interest in financial freedom this month. The markets should be largely influenced by emotions in February and digital currency could be interesting to watch.

As the Moon with Uranus in Taurus indicates technology connected to the environment and the physical body, we are likely to see an increase in personal demands for security and defenses against the coronavirus. Protests against, and strong disagreements with the way leaders are handling the situation is likely to increase moving forward. We are also likely to see more people interested in alternative and natural wellness options. Starting off the month taking care of your body and eating clean, natural, non-GMO, organic foods is highly recommended.

Interesting numerology note: February 2, 2020 is 02/02/ which is a mirror of 2020 – the last time this mirroring of dates happened was 11/11/1111.
