Pluto Direct in Capricorn October 4, 2020

Pluto stations direct in Capricorn on October 4, 2020 at 9:33 am ET.

Whenever a planet goes direct it signifies turning the tables and turning over a new leaf. It can be a more intense time where we notice how circumstances are coming together to push us in a new direction.

Hopefully we can overcome some of the major issues we saw deep down in the abyss below the surface while Pluto was Retrograde so we can now move forward and consciously create positive changes accordingly.

This is a reminder of what we are manifesting in the world and what needs to change. What do we need to do to manifest a different reality?

As an outer planet, Pluto in Capricorn speaks to larger, world affairs. Pluto is a revolutionary planet, but it’s process can be scary and shadowy. It digs so deep into the underbelly of reality that we end up seeing a lot of negative things most would rather avoid and not think about. For more positive perspectives in astrology we would look more toward the Sun and Venus. Jupiter is geared toward positivity as well, but being so close to Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn now, Jupiter’s blessings may be more disguised than usual.

Although Pluto in Capricorn is mostly about the bigger picture, for yourself personally this can be a time to consider what needs to change for you. What negativity do you need to purge out of your life so you can change for the better? This can be a time to prioritize new, different goals that can change your life.

Ultimately it is everything that we see demonstrated in the world that is negative right now that needs to change, and we can change that individually by making different choices and choosing how to positively evolve out of the destruction toward better, positive solutions. It’s like Pluto shows us that we don’t really want to move toward destruction, it really is a matter of choice. In order to stop the destruction we need to get out of our egos and selfish perspectives. The ego divides. If we want to bring things to a more positive place we’re all going to have to realize that we need to evolve to create a more positive world, and the way to do that is by wanting to evolve toward the better. There is so much focus on what is destructive right now, that it is reminding us that we need to individually transform what is negative in our own lives so we can be more constructive rather than destructive.

I really believe that in order for the destruction to end, we need to forgive ourselves and each other for the past so we don’t continue bringing the destruction into the future with us. Chiron Retrograde in Aries reminds us that we need to heal our egos and hurts from the past by not developing an identity that is based on pain.

But Capricorn reminds us that self centered egotism has a stronghold on so many people and is a powerful force in our world that can create a lot of havoc that is not easy to overcome. If we were smarter we as humanity wouldn’t put ourselves through all this disaster happening in the world. If we as humanity knew better, we would do better. Would we? Sometimes things have to get really bad before people finally wake up and choose to do and be different. Sometimes people only wake up when they are at the very edge of destruction.

I think if we’re to evolve we need to focus on how to be constructive and using our power for creating something better that goes beyond our egos.

Capricorn is an earth sign and generally signifies more focus on business, money, career, professional aims, authority figures, reputation, recognition, fame, and the larger political structures and systems in the world. Capricorn is a demonstration of the ego in the material world, and reminds us that the most powerful people in the world have the biggest egos – that’s how they get to the top of course. They have strong desires and willpower to climb to the top of that mountain where they are in a position to rule.

As Pluto moves forward in Capricorn we are likely to see changes to political structure and restructuring in businesses. Shifts in the economy and banking industry is also likely.

Jupiter in Capricorn went Direct on September 12th, 2020 and Saturn in Capricorn went Direct on September 29, 2020. Now the Stellium of 3 planets in close orb in Capricorn – Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn, are all in direct motion. The Stellium indicates a merging and blending of the symbolism of these 3 planets which means a lot of intensity – these are major powerful planets in astrology.

Of course with Capricorn being about the top of the hierarchy of the material world, politics, power and political leadership is the primary focus. Pluto is about power, wealth, death, destruction, control, judgment and major transformation – no wonder we are seeing so much intensity in these regards in the political world. Pluto also relates to our deeper psychology, fears and all that is hidden and secret adding to the intensity.

As Pluto is judgment, it isn’t afraid to dig deep into the most vile places to uncover what’s really going on to know the real truth so it can be dealt with, leading to transformation.

As we head forward Jupiter will be getting closer to meeting with Pluto in Capricorn for their conjunction on November 12, 2020 at 4:38 pm ET. This could be like a climactic period and powerful, significant, notable people at the top of society that pull strings and push buttons from politicians to oligarchs, kings and queens to celebrities are likely to be in major focus. A significant figure could be in the spotlight and we may witness an expansion of power. Attention to the top social class in society is at a tipping point. Since Pluto represents fears, don’t be surprised if the media laying the fear on really thick around this time, spreading it far and wide.

Jupiter meeting Pluto in Capricorn could also indicate big news about transit, travel and delivery of physical packages and mail that leads to a significant change around this time.

For those of you that see patterns in numerology, it could be interesting to see what happens around November 11, 2020.

As mentioned, Jupiter is generally regarded as a positive planet in astrology, and likes freedom and expansion, but here with Pluto and Saturn we have challenges. However, much can be learned through the process, and although things do look difficult now, we could also have blessings in disguise. Symbolically, we could see people have major epiphanies and awakenings happen worldwide as Jupiter gets closer to Pluto in Capricorn.

As Jupiter represents far reaching media, we will likely continue to see more major demonstrations of use of power in the media to manifest beliefs in the masses. What people think and believe becomes reality of course, because thoughts become things – thoughts lead to actions and reactions. The corporate media knows the power of the mind, which is why the media repeats certain perspectives as such a powerful tool in directing the consciousness of the world. What the media focuses on, is what goes through the minds of millions of people. That’s a pretty powerful way to influence reality. Also remember that the word government means to rule the mind (govern = rule; ment = mind).

Then we have Saturn (restriction) and Jupiter (expansion) with Pluto in Capricorn adding a push and pull of extreme ends of the spectrum of political beliefs (Jupiter), rules (Saturn), law (Jupiter) and order (Saturn) as part of this transformation Pluto demands, so it’s no surprise just how messy things have been these days with strong contrasts. Pluto is about purging and bringing awareness to the dirty, hidden corruption and abuses of power that go on behind the scenes so things can change.

Add to that of course we have Mars Retrograde in Aries now, which is in Square to planets in Capricorn we have a highly volatile period where conflict and tension between individuals and authority figures are highly emphasized. Identity politics is creating strong, fiery conflicts with fire sign Aries being the sign of identity. Protests that demonstrate power struggles between individual rights and freedoms and the rules and impositions of those in authority will continue. We also see sports and celebrity culture having many challenges as Mars is in conflict with planets in Capricorn.

Mars in Aries will be in difficult position in square to Pluto in Capricorn on October 9, 2020 at 9:08 pm ET.

It’s also interesting to note the timing that we had the Full Moon in Aries conjunct Chiron in Aries (the wounded healer) on October 1, 2020 and political leader Donald Trump tested positive for the CV. Aries represents leaders, as does Capricorn.

Pluto is very fiery, as the higher octave of Mars, and both Mars and Pluto are rulers of Scorpio. Pluto in Capricorn could be thought of as symbolically like the eye of Sauron in the Lord of the Rings as well, it’s about that kind of intense power from the very top of material existence especially with Saturn and Jupiter here bringing a lot of intensity and contrast here. We see demonstrations oversteps of power as a Big Brother type world is being manifested through technological systems of control.

And speaking of Scorpio, as Pluto stations Direct in Capricorn, Mercury is in Scorpio and Mercury stations Retrograde in Scorpio on October 13, 2020.

The positive side of Pluto is the desire for knowledge and truth, and through knowing more and knowing better we can be transformed. We can expect many revelations to continue as Pluto transits through Capricorn for the next few years. We can be significantly changed by discoveries and unveiling of knowledge during the switch from Pluto Retrograde to Direct. But of course the symbolism of Pluto promises that the way things will be revealed is through digging up the dirtiest and scummiest filth from the very bottom of the dirtiest swamp. Yikes!

Conspiracy theories are certainly going to continue to gain more attention as people try to figure out what’s going on and dig deep like sleuths to put the pieces together. With such a struggle for major power and control in the world now, of course those in high positions of power and wealth would try to discredit any in depth investigation into their wrongdoings – obviously. Labeling any in depth inquiry into corruption behind the scenes as a conspiracy theory would naturally be a go-to way of deflecting and dismissing the very real possibilities that there is something rotten going on. Seriously, when was the last time the most financially privileged criminals just admitted to being sinister and corrupt? When was the last time you actually heard any politician whatsoever admit they’ve ever done anything wrong, crooked or corrupt at all instead of just blaming everyone else? Most likely never. Of course they would try to hide and deny their wrongdoings to maintain power. It’s often said that politicians are professional liars.

Capricorn is not reserved to just politicians though. It also represents the powers that be in the corporate world. Pluto is about wealth, and those with the most money have the most power of course.

History has also shown us that it’s also a common public relations move for those in powerful positions to create and promote an image of being philanthropists to trick people into believing they are altruistic rather than corrupt behind the scenes.

With Pluto in Capricorn it would be wise for deeper investigations into foundations and charities that may be used as covers for money laundering and such sinister operations. This would certainly be something worth considering especially with Mercury going Retrograde in Scorpio. This is likely to get more attention in the months ahead as Jupiter and Saturn move forward into Aquarius at the end of the year as well.

Jupiter in Capricorn also represents the media that manifests beliefs into becoming our experience in reality. In Capricorn, it is particularly the corporate media owned and operated by rich bigwigs, as well as social media that is emphasized. We can see many demonstrations of oversteps of power in what’s been happening with social media and media through the manipulation of information that favors a particular bias. With the Destiny Point in Gemini from now until 2022 indicating that information exchanges are a huge part of manifesting our future destiny, it’s no surprise that we are seeing the struggle for power play out in the area of communications.

When Pluto seeks knowledge, it digs deep, far and wide for the truth which can bring up a whole lot of startling insights. Just like the metaphor of the bite from the apple and the temptation to know it all, knowing the truth can be more powerful and transformational than we may suspect. What we become aware of can lead to major changes in our world.

As Pluto is our furthest planet from the Sun, it symbolizes how far from the truth we can be, making the desire to find it that much stronger.

Overall, we can expect big politics to impact the psychology of the masses with new revelations coming to the surface. Truth wants to be free, and all that is hidden must come to light eventually, but we are likely to see a battle continue in trying to keep darker truths hidden deep behind the scenes.

In each of our lives we can expect this period to be challenging as the world changes, leading to significant psychological shifts, and changes to our personal goals and ambitions in life. Nobody ever said that Pluto in Capricorn would be easy.

Stay tuned. I will have lots more to say about what’s happening in astrology as it relates to what’s going on in the world.
