It’s officially a New Moon in Capricorn on January 13, 2021 at 12:01 am ET.
The New Moon arrives when the Moon is in conjunction with the Sun in Capricorn. In the coming days, as the Moon grows we will see the crescent Moon in the sky after sunset.
The New Moon in Capricorn gives us the opportunity to become more aware and driven to succeed in accomplishing our personal goals, and can be the beginning of a new way forward.

Generally, the Moon is not at her most optimal in Capricorn because The Moon likes things to be comfortable and flowing well, while Capricorn is about work, time and putting in a lot of effort to accomplish.
