Uranus officially stations Direct in Taurus on January 14, 2021 at 3:37 am ET.
Uranus will be Direct in Taurus until August 19, 2021
When Uranus stations from Retrograde to Direct it signifies a pivotal time where our perspective changes. With Uranus, it especially brings attention to changes regarding Freedom and where we are heading into the future. Shifts in consciousness and awareness are happening now.
Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius and Mercury just entered Aquarius on January 8, 2021 and it certainly has been very active in the communications, technology and social media sector these days. We also have Jupiter in Aquarius and Saturn in Aquarius significantly contributing to the complexity of changes. This indicates a major push and pull of information and ideologies contributing to tensions now. What people think and believe about the world is strongly shifting at this time. Uranus will be stationary for a few days, and we could feel like we are at a crossroads where decisions are vital to our next steps forward.
With Mercury in Aquarius now while Uranus is in Taurus we are seeing a shift of perspectives in communications, news media, social media and the tech industry and how information exchanges influence the reality we are manifesting in the material world. Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury and brings greater emphasis to communications and technology.
Uranus in Taurus also indicates a focus on bio-technology and related scientific developments, so we could see news about changes in this regard as well during this period.
Right now, all eyes are on Big Tech (Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius) colluding together as an authoritarian monopoly of power to take away people’s rights for free speech, which of course is clearly a major problem. Obviously such enforced restrictions against the will of the people is going to create conflict and backfire on the sensibilities of people that value freedom of speech.
Because of restrictions and limitations imposed by corporate and political powerhouses with Saturn in Aquarius it naturally creates a counter culture that strongly desires expanding freedoms. Uranus is revolutionary and we can see rebellion against restrictions, which is leading to attention on alternatives and the development of new technologies.
As signs of the times, I’ve talked a lot about all this in recent horoscopes with a focus on what’s happening in Aquarius. Now with Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, stationing direct we are likely to see a boomerang effect as we head forward.
In weeks ahead, we also have Mercury stationing Retrograde on January 30, 2021 and into February which will revisit a lot of the issues that are already coming up in 2021 in the tech industry and issues of freedom of speech.
With Uranus stationing Direct in Taurus now, we can expect events around this pivotal time to wake a lot of people up that can completely change the landscape of our future.
Currently we also have the Destiny Point in Gemini, which is ruled by Mercury, indicating how information exchanges and communications are a major focus in our lives now that are significantly contributing to where we are headed. The air signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius) all symbolize duality of the mind and how information can sway us from one side to the other. It is like we are living in dual realities and there is a conflict between which one is true and real and which isn’t. We’re at a crossroads in a matrix of ideologies and there is a battle of which road we are going to take heading into the future.
Obviously we have strong powers and special interests at the top of society in politics and Big Tech (Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius) trying to steer the collective consciousness into the direction they want everyone to think and believe. Such pushes for controlling the minds of the masses has always been a major part of how people at the top of society control the world. This is currently evident by the strongarming attempts to control social media and free speech by those in power.
With Uranus in Taurus what’s so important to recognize now is how information is used and directed to influence our real world experiences. Uranus wants truth and freedom, and to break free from the restrictions.
We can see that there is a strong battle battle of divergent ideologies and beliefs, what is true and false, and we can see that there is a lot of pressure from established powers-that-be in society to try to shape what people think and believe. What the majority choose to align with will determine what future we create. Such strong efforts by media and those in powerful positions to try to shape and control what people think and believe is clearly an attempt to manifest the reality they want. The writing is on the wall and the processes set in place is certainly creating a lot of conflict.
Jupiter in Aquarius will be in conflicting position, in square, to Uranus in Taurus on January 17, 2021 at 5:49 pm ET. This really brings conflicting attention to Big Tech.
Mars entered Taurus on January 6, 2021 and is now getting closer to Uranus in Taurus as well now which further indicates a lot of tension is building.
Mars will conjunct Uranus on January 20, 2021 indicating a meeting of sudden, explosive energy like a lightning bolt signifying big, dramatic changes. Mars is about actions and Uranus indicates rebellious thoughts and words. Mars is the determined ego pushing for what he wants in Taurus. Essentially, it could be summed up as an information war with real world results. Mars and Uranus in Taurus are also in square to Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius.
Mars the warrior also represents military, as well as machinery, weaponry and moving parts. In Taurus, Mars is associated to physical effort and thus can represent an activated military during this period. We also hear a lot about the American Civil war being talked about these days, and I took a look at the chart in April 1861, and Mars was getting close to Uranus at that time as well, at that time in Gemini.
Mars and Uranus together can be quite dramatic and explosive, like fireworks. Perhaps we’ll see some rumbles, earth changes, earthquakes or volcanoes during this period as well as Uranus in Taurus is associated with earth changes. It’s also quite possible that we could see talk of physical land ownership being an area of contention. Interestingly, Mars is the Tower in the tarot.
Jupiter in Aquarius will also be in square to Mars in Taurus on January 23, 2021. I’m just saying… the last time Jupiter was in square to Mars was on August 4, 2020 about an hour before we had the major explosion in Beirut.
With all that is happening now, we can see that there is a necessary call for calming tensions.
Taurus is also largely about physical security as well as income and making money. As Uranus shift directions we could also see a shift in focus on finances and security as we look toward our future. Personal security is highly valued when considering Taurus.
Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Venus is in Capricorn now as well bringing further attention to the political and business arena which of course is a reminder that money is the backbone of all decisions in these areas. With all the transformation in politics, we could see a lot of attention in relation to a prominent female figure now. With Venus in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus more developments in the financial world, especially related to financial technologies like cryptocurrency are likely.
The Sun in Capricorn conjuncts Pluto in Capricorn as well on January 14, 2021 at 9:18 am ET which indicates greater awareness and light shining on what is going on behind the scenes in politics and business. Significant and potentially shocking political revelations are possible around this time that wakes people up to the truth.
