April 2021 Monthly Astrology Overview

Here I share some of the more important key considerations and larger themes for the month ahead and how they relate to current trends in our society. Mercury enters Aries April 3, 2021 at 11:40 pm ET to start off the month. This is a great time to start thinking in an all new way and take the lead with a more direct approach toward your goals. We can expect lots of talk about identity issues and it’s a good time to consider what parts of the ego need to be healed, especially as Mercury gets closer to meeting with Chiron in Aries on April 9, 2021 at 3:07 am ET. We could also see strong exchanges of words and clashing egos with Mars in Gemini now too.

Also on April 9, 2021 Saturn in Aquarius connects with the Destiny Point in Gemini at 10:55 pm ET. This is the time to make more serious, responsible choices that influence our future. Of course with Saturn imposing limitations in the social sphere, we can expect a further push of control measures and restrictions by those in authority. Remember, when Saturn first entered Aquarius on March 21, 2020 that’s when Social distancing started.

We are also going to have to watch Big Tech this month especially since Jupiter in Aquarius is in aspect to Mars in Gemini on April 17, 2021 1:13 am ET. This can indicate big actions and decisions that affect our future and our destinies significantly. Big power and authority could be demonstrated. We could also hear talk of global issues including cyber-security concerns. Mars is the warrior after all, so we could hear of some bold ego clashes and major excesses of bravado. But we could also see a push for solutions and push back against communications restrictions and a demand for more freedoms.

With Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius in focus this month it really highlights the struggle between freedom and control and just how big and powerful the tech industry is. We could certainly see a lot more attention on the push and pull of limitations of information imposed by those in powerful positions! Big egos and big talkers could be emboldened especially in the realm of media and politics. An overreach of demands pushing for more control and power over the collective consciousness and our social lives is likely. How pressure from the top instigates and emphasizes social issues in society is in focus.

Legal and political matters are likely to be significantly emphasized. Issues of bias in journalism are sure to be in larger focus.

I think one of the more important considerations this month is that we all have a responsibility in being aware of how our decisions and actions contribute, participate and consent to the direction of the future. It would be wise to do research for yourself to figure out the truth this month, with an eye on how big decisions are affecting your life personally and your future.

To figure out where the larger, global direction is heading, it’s really not rocket science. Simply observe the patterns, the plans, the direction and the structure that is being putting in place by those with the most power and influence in society, and you’ll have insight into how the future is most likely to develop. With Saturn in Aquarius it is a step by step, methodical, planned, organized approach to creating structure designed by those in positions of authority, especially relating to our social lives and our freedoms. Saturn is about creating systems that control and in Aquarius it is about power and authority controlling the collective mindset. I’ll give you a further hint about what ALL that’s been going on has been about and leading to manifesting in the video at the end of this article.

We also have the New Moon in Aries on April 11, 2021 at 10:31 pm ET which grows toward the Full Moon in Scorpio arriving at the end of the month on April 26, 2021 at 11:31 pm ET. This two week period of growth can motivate people to take action and lead the way to assert identities. We are likely to see a growing development of digging deep to find the root cause of psychological issues as part of our ego identities. Hidden motivations and secrets could be revealed as we get closer to the Full Moon. We could also see issues come up that relate to the larger picture of the financial system.

But before we get to the Full Moon in Scorpio on the 26th, Mercury and Venus always transit pretty close to the Sun and will each be entering Taurus mid-month. Venus enters Taurus on April 14th, while Mercury and the Sun enter Taurus on April 19th. It’s a good time to take care of your body, especially with natural and organic foods and self care. It’s also a smart time to put more focus on your financial security.

Venus, Mercury and The Sun will each conjunct Uranus in Taurus at the end of the month:

Venus will conjunct Uranus in Taurus on April 22, 2021 at 9:00 pm ET, Mercury will conjunct Uranus in Taurus on April 24, 2021 at 2:41 am ET, and the Sun will also conjunct Uranus on April 30, 2021 at 3:53 pm ET. We’ll be hearing a lot more about technology, cryptocurrency, financial security and cybersecurity around this time as well as more on the biotech industry. Of course I’ll be talking more about the details on this in the Weekly Astrology Updates as we get closer to the end of the month.

We also have Pluto stationing Retrograde in Capricorn on April 27, 2021 at 4:03 pm ET. This brings much emphasis to changes that need to be made in the world of politics and corporate power. Changes in power and wealth are indicated. We are likely to see the tables turn in the power structure of our society and dramatic shifts in reputations can arise in the months ahead as this is a longer term transit. We are likely to hear more talk about how the world is being operated as a Plutocracy during this period.
