This month we get more focus on Gemini. With Mercury entering Gemini on May 3rd, and Venus entering Gemini on May 8th, communications in our relationships get more attention, especially with people in our closer social groups like friends, siblings, cousins, acquaintances and neighbors. Mercury will also connect with the Destiny Point in Gemini on May 10th at 3:01 pm ET so a key conversation, message or point of view could give us some significant insight into the direction of our future. Choices made now can really have an impact on our way forward.
At the time of their conjunction, Mercury and the Destiny Point are also in connection with Saturn in fellow air sign Aquarius signifying that our words and decisions now hold a lot of weight influencing our future. It would be best to make responsible choices and resist negativity and negative influences now. If peer pressure or someone in authority is pushing you toward things you don’t want this is your reminder that the word No can be one of the most powerful words you can use. We could also see key developments and demonstrations around the social-tech sector near this time that gives us insight into the power and authority of big tech and restrictions of information on our lives.
We have the New Moon in Taurus on May 11, 2021 at 3:00 pm ET giving us a two week period of development and growth. This would be a great time to take care of your body and enjoy time in nature to ground yourself. Financial security will be in focus so it would be wise to consider ways to get your income to grow.
Jupiter enters Pisces on May 13, 2021 at 6:36 pm ET and will be in Pisces for the next couple of month until the end of July. A much more philosophical, spiritual perspective of reality is to be expected now. A compassionate perspective and friendly approach can have a powerful impact on your karma and the karma of those around you. Topics discussed in the media can really have an impact on what we believe now as well, and those that are naive and trusting may need to put in extra effort to think beyond illusions. Faith and religion can get a lot more attention during this period as people expand their worldview seeking higher truths. Imagination, creativity and intuition are highlighted during this period as a positive way to tap into the times. We could also see a lot of attention on how big sacrifices may be made during this period.
Just like how Mercury connected with the Destiny Point in Gemini on May 10th, Venus will also connect with the Destiny Point in Gemini on May 17, 2021. This is a good time to communicate with people you care about. Relationships with those close and romantic relationships will benefit from an extra dose of love and care. Loving words spoken now can make a big difference in your life and the lives of those you connect with. Talking about your values and what you want for the future is recommended, and discussing positive ideas about money is also suggested now.
The Sun will finish up in Taurus on May 20th, and enter Gemini at 3:36 pm ET. It’s a great time to get out in the sunshine and enjoy the last month of spring. The Sun in Gemini naturally emphasizes an interest in communicating in all manners to peers and those around you. Say what you need to say and share your views. Words spoken now can influence others greatly. You never know when something you have said will wake someone up and impact another, even the smallest statement or remark. Watch for patterns and synchronicities to show up at random that influence your train of thought. It’s a great time to write, think, contemplate, ponder and discuss as a casual pastime with extra potential to spark great ideas. Do be cautious of gossip as word can get around quickly, especially with Mercury in Gemini now too.
Saturn stations Retrograde in Aquarius on May 23, 2021 at 5:20 am ET for the next few months into October 2021. We could see a significant reversal of thought during this period and resistance to the direction the world has been heading. A lot more people will have doubts about what is manifesting in the world and questions are sure to arise, especially where things haven’t been adding up or making sense. We can expect resistance and changes to the collective consciousness now. A lot more people are likely to question authority figures for their demands, rules and restrictions now. More people will recognize how political and corporate power, especially the tech industry, have been merging into a dominating authority over the collective. A lot more people will recognize how saying No, and not consenting can change our overall direction significantly.
As we get closer to the end of the month we have the Full Moon in Sagittarius on May 26, 2021 at 7:17 am ET. This signifies a much broader perspective and greater awareness that can reach worldwide. With the Sun in Gemini close to the Destiny Point in Gemini during this Full Moon we are likely to have key awareness develop through our communications and interactions with others as we reach closer to this Full Moon. Dialogue and an open mind is suggested to wake up to a new worldview. Awareness throughout society and globally could reach a high point at the end of the month where people seek more truth and freedom.
Mercury and Venus connect in Gemini on May 29, 2021 at 1:11 am ET and then later on the same day Mercury will station Retrograde in Gemini at 6:35 pm ET. This gives us a big clue that love, relationships and communications are what we should be thinking about changing and fixing while Mercury is Retrograde over the next few weeks. Reconsider the karma of your interactions with others and work on communicating more from the heart and speaking truth according to your values and with kindness. It’s also a great time to be a listener rather than always being the one doing all the talking. We’ll also be reminded to look at financial issues that may need to change, and probably hear more about cryptocurrencies. Mercury Retrograde can bring out the trickster so it’s not the best time to be all trusting and naive about information you encounter now. A bit of skepticism and asking lots of questions can save you trouble and mistakes. It’s not the best time to be trusting those that are pitching problems, especially when they are the one’s selling and profiting off the solution.
And finally, on the last day of the month we have the Sun meeting the Destiny Point in Gemini on May 31, 2021 at 8:11 pm ET. This can be an especially potent time when thoughts, words, information and messages of all kinds get the spotlight and are worth noting. What is talked about most now could have significant influence on the direction we are heading, so it’s wise to get your point of view across to be part of the future we are all creating together.
