This week Mars is the big power player with many aspects to other planets. Mars is the warrior and the athlete of course, so we could have quite an aggressive, energizing week. Mars is in Leo which can be highly dramatic and with explosive egos and violent actions. It could be quite a hot, fiery week! A lot of activities that happen this week could actually be a show of dramatized theater with Mars in Leo.
Interestingly enough I didn’t think I would be able to get this Weekly Horoscope to you today. I usually start writing my Weekly Horoscopes on Sunday but I had food poisoning this weekend, just when transiting Mars conjunct my Natal Mars in my 12th house! Although I still don’t feel myself, luckily I am recovering and regaining my strength, but what a horrible and frightening experience. There were moments when I really did not think I was going to make it!

To start off this week, Mars in Leo connects with the Destiny Point in Gemini June 28, 2021 at 9:04 am ET indicating this week could be pivotal for our future. Words and actions said now can have a strong impact. Body language and physical expressions can also send strong messages. It is wise to not only listen to what is said, but to also observe behavior for additional messages that may go unspoken, but actually say a lot. To put it bluntly, this basically says “information wars” and standing up for your right to express yourself and free speech. News, media, social media could see dramatic action this week. Also cybersecurity issues could get attention.
Mars in Leo, Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus are in a T-square, indicating strong, fiery tensions are likely this week. Conflict and tension via the contrasts between control and freedom are strongly indicated.
Mars in Leo is opposite Saturn Retrograde in Aquarius July 1, 2021 at 9:07 am ET. This can certainly point to the egos of authority figures, especially in the social-tech sector and related socio-political situations. With Mars in highly expressive Leo we could see aggressive reactions as people defend themselves and assert their rights and freedoms from overbearing rules and restrictions imposed by those that position themselves as authority figures. This can also be interpreted as a dramatized war on your mind.
Mars is in a positive aspect with Chiron in Aries July 2, 2021 at 4:41 am ET. This further indicates the rights of the individual being asserted strongly. We could see loud demonstrations that are offensive and defensive as people continue to work on healing wounds. Taking care of yourself and expressing personal rights for dignity and self respect are highlighted.
Mars is in a difficult position to Uranus in Taurus July 3, 2021 at 9:39 pm ET. Uranus loves freedom, so we could see people that are feeling restricted and challenged thanks to Saturn, really push hard to escape restrictions and push for freedom. Uranus also speaks to science and technology and in Taurus it really points to biotechnology as well as the environment. With Mars in difficult aspect to Uranus now we could see aggressive moves that push the biotechnology angle. Uranus in Taurus also speaks to cybersecurity, so we could see issues around this time, like cyber attacks or talk of cyber-wars get attention.
With the T-square this week with Mars, Saturn and Uranus in contrast it can also indicate something explosive, whether it is technological, social or a natural earthquake or volcano that shakes things up, symbolically this is a dramatic, fiery, energetic configuration with a dynamic of restriction and freedom which could seem extreme. It could also be information conflicts that create a lot of drama, noise and shifts in the social landscape.
Mars in Leo also speaks to actions taken by celebrities including celebrity athletes. I thought it was pretty interesting that Britney Spears is coming back up in the news right now, fighting for her rights from being so restricted and abused by authority figures. This all came out at the time of the Full Moon in Capricorn we had last week which also speaks to rich and famous celebrities. We may be seeing more come out about how Hollywood operates behind the scenes. Also, with Pluto in Capricorn pointing to big transformations and destruction of the physical, it’s also interesting that we had the building collapse in Miami last week on the day of the Full Moon in Capricorn. We can send many prayers for those that may be still trapped in the rubble and those affected and hope they are saved.
*On July 4, 2021 for Independence Day we have the Sun in Cancer in conflict with Chiron in Aries at 11:38 am ET. We also have the Moon conjunct Uranus in Taurus at this time. This can indicate a sudden change that affects people personally and emotionally. A desire for personal freedom is indicated. Protective and defensive qualities for self preservation are highlighted. Tension in personal relationships, family and the larger consideration of the homeland, especially regarding identity issues are in focus. A need for security is emphasized.
And don’t forget that Jupiter is currently Retrograde in Pisces which can be interpreted as the biggest deception. Jupiter rules the media, journalism and information that reaches worldwide to form beliefs.
