Venus officially stations Retrograde in Capricorn on December 19, 2021 at 5:36 am ET. Venus will be Retrograde in Capricorn until January 29, 2022 at 3:47 am ET.
Venus going Retrograde in Capricorn will be meeting with Pluto in Capricorn on December 25, 2021 at 6:54 am ET.
Venus has already met with Pluto while Direct on December 11, 2021.
This indicates that money, wealth and our relationship to the material world is in focus and is changing. This includes our relationship to our physical body and the earth.
With the location of Venus and Pluto in the zodiac now, health matters will be more in focus until the second week of January 2022, then matters increasingly focus on financial considerations between early January to later in February, then focusing more on health related concerns again as we head into March.
Venus is the ruler of Taurus, a fellow earth sign to Capricorn, which has a lot to do with our possessions, what we own and value, and of course money, security, jobs, food and our environment. Uranus is now in Taurus which brings further attention to how technology is associated with our bodies and the material world pointing to what we are heading toward in the future.
Freedom and rights over individuals bodily autonomy is in focus, especially considerations of ownership of one’s own body in contrast to political and business authority as a form of ownership. Relationships to people in powerful positions in society like politicians, oligarchs, plutocrats are in focus. Are those in positions of authority worthy of respect or admiration? Do they represent the people’s values? How does the ego, greed, selfishness, and obsessions of material wealth and possessions affect reputations?
Pluto is a destructive force of change and transformation that breaks things down so we can see the truth of what lies behind the scenes.
With Venus Retrograde, especially when meeting with Pluto, we could see big shifts in the financial landscape and our relationship to authority figures.
Along with shifts in the financial sector and stock market, Venus meeting Pluto can reveal potent examples of how, “The love of money is the root of all evil.”
Demonstrations of how high ranking people with big money operate behind the scenes, can tell us a lot about the power structure of society.
A female leader or famous person in the public eye that has power and influence could be in the spotlight during this period. Reversals are in focus with Retrogrades, and so we could see a reversal of reputation or big changes in power roles during this period.
We could even see the death, illness, retirement or investigation of a famous, high status female celebrity or leader that manifest big changes.
Chiron in Aries is also stationing Direct on this same day December 19, 2021 at 11:33 am ET further indicating this is a time where power relationships and identities manifested between authority figures and individuals that are unhealthy need to be changed.
