The Sun officially enters Capricorn on December 21, 2021 at 10:58 am ET for the Winter Solstice.

With the Winter Solstice, the Sun descends into the darkness with the shortest day of the year and as he rises with the days getting longer from here on, it is a symbol of a new birth and rebirth, with the promise of new light and hope for the future.

The Winter Solstice marks the point where we descend to the depths of darkness of the winter season and emerge renewed with the light getting stronger, reminding us of the phoenix rising from the ashes also symbolized by Pluto in Capricorn now.

The Sun symbolizes truth and awareness. We can expect many revelations at this time.

Now we have The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto in Capricorn.

Last year we had the great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius on the Winter Solstice right around the time the V technology entered.

Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign that is concerned with initiating and establishing goals in the material world, being productive to achieve and climb that mountain toward success, manifesting real world results, being a leader.

With Mercury also in Capricorn now, we are reminded that planning and organization are like self-fulfilling prophecies where the vision formed in the mind leads to practical action that manifests the desired goals and outcomes on a predetermined schedule. We see this in politics and business all the time, especially where there is big money pushing society in a certain direction according to the will of those directing the money to go toward specific outcomes.

Capricorn, being an earth sign, is highly materialistic which coincides with the shopping and gift giving season for the holidays. Having material wealth and demonstrating value and status is an important quality for Capricorn. Big money, finances and economics, politics and business are at the summit of the material world.

With Venus currently Retrograde in Capricorn connecting with Pluto we may see a powerful female figure go through a major transformation, perhaps even a death of a high profile, high ranking official or celebrity with global impact. Also, in this particular area of the chart with Venus and Pluto we are likely to see a much stronger focus on transformation of health, and practical goals of self preservation, as well as more focus on money and jobs.

As well, this period with Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus brings focus to technology including biotechnology, and social issues including peer pressure and the desire for freedom from restrictions by authoritarians.

The Sun in Capricorn Winter Solstice provides us with an all new beginning that is marked by the start of new goals to have an impact in the material world.

The Sun represents the masculine, father and authority figures in our lives and in Capricorn, reminds us to be responsible for how we are utilizing our time. When we are actively pursuing our efforts and have the discipline to make progress in our goals we build confidence, power and results. Saturn rules Capricorn reminding us that we reap what we sow.

Careers that are suited to Capricorn symbolically are all those that require structure and form such as management and planning, architecture, engineering, housing development, and earth oriented careers like farming and gardening. Top level structure, organization, rules and authoritative control as exemplified by politicians, business leaders, bankers and careers in finance and economics are all indicated of course. Legacy, status and fame are also indicated as top of the line goals with Capricorn.

With Pluto in Capricorn along with the Sun now, over the next month we can expect more focus on the political and business establishments to get more truth revealed about what’s been going on hidden behind the scenes.

Capricorn being a politically oriented, authoritarian sign, we can expect to see a noticeable uptick of politicians saying just about anything to maintain control.

The light of the Sun symbolizes the truth, but since politics has bias, ego and occult (hidden) elements built right in with opposing partisan sides of issues, especially noted with Pluto in Capricorn, finding the whole truth requires lot of light shined on all perspectives. With Saturn in Aquarius putting a mental lock on the minds of the collective it is challenging for a lot of people to see the full picture.

Pluto in Capricorn reveals corruption and reminds us that powerful people play dirty and a whole lot of scum is dug up in the process. With the Sun here lots could come out into the light to bring awareness and clarity.

Politics and business is often like a giant game of chess, where people don’t get to the top of the pyramid by being a sweet, nice, pushover. They get there by playing the game, involving a whole lot of strategic, self-serving maneuvers to win and attain their goals.

Significant revelations are sure to come to light regarding authority figures and their big power games.

Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, represents the elderly, old age, and structures developed over long periods in history. We can expect those in power positions that uphold the long established positions of authority to be in a significant period of transformation with Pluto in Capricorn. As mentioned, with Venus here in Capricorn connecting with Pluto, money and materialism is in the spotlight of change.

With Saturn in Aquarius now it is control over the minds of the collective as an effort to establish particular, selective outcomes for the future that are in focus.

The Sun in Capricorn encourages us all to access tried and tested wisdom, to seek truth, become wiser and more aware of the world we are manifesting by what we think and believe and to make strong decisions to direct our life in the world as we head forward into the future.

The Sun is in Capricorn until January 19, 2022.
