Mercury first entered Gemini on April 29, 2022 and will now be going back over the area of the zodiac since then.
Information and communications are going to be backtracking and people will be rethinking all sorts of topics, especially reconsidering superficial subjects, gossip and misinformation. Digging for information and finding out what’s going on below the surface is indicated now. What’s really true?
People can be subject to a lot more manipulation of the mind during this period especially as information can be so convoluted and confusing, and intentionally so. Hearsay, gossip, assumptions and misdirection among people, online and on TV can be more than ridiculous. Keen observers will be able to pick it up easily, but in many cases it passes over a lot of people’s heads. A lack of awareness can lead to a lot of naivety.
It’s fascinating to see how millions of people’s minds are directed according to what the current topic in the news and media is in focus. What is talked about is what most people are thinking and talking about. Perhaps it’s time to step away from the rhetoric and the narrative pumped into the minds of humanity and think for yourself.
Information is a tricky thing since bias is always a stronger factor to most people than objectivity.
Sometimes the intention of labeling something misinformation is done by those that don’t want people to actually know the truth, especially those with a hidden agenda which Mercury Retrograde also signifies. “Misinformation” can be a convenient blanket label to hide behind, as a cover up to dismiss what might actually be true. Mercury Retrograde is the trickster after all so lies and deception should be considered with information exchanges during this period.
When it comes to any information outside the mainstream collective narrative, people will often say, “I don’t want to hear about it. I don’t want to think about it. I don’t want to know about it.” How much of our reality is based on repetitive tricks of the mind and an intentional lack of information? Decisions based on little depth of knowledge can lead to problems that could have been prevented.
Also be cautious when people are phishing and digging for information from you, especially personal information, because once they have that data, they just might use it against you in the future.
We can expect hiccups in communications, misunderstandings and information to not make sense bringing up a lot of questions. The social media world, and what people disagree on, free speech and censorship, is also likely to get a lot more attention now as well.
During Mercury Retrograde a lot of people choose to also go quiet and step away from communicating and interacting so much, and instead internalize. It can be a good time to clear your mind.
Mercury Retrograde then enters back into Taurus on May 22, 2022 at 9:15 pm ET until stationing direct again in Taurus on June 3, 2022 at 4:00 am ET. During this period we can expect a lot more backtracking on money matters. What people are building toward and working on, jobs, income, financial security and mortgages are all up for reconsideration. Agriculture, the environment and supply chain issues are in focus.
Mercury direct enters Gemini again on June 13, 2022 at 11:27 am ET indicating more focus will be back on the social and communication issues that came up while Mercury was Retrograde in Gemini between May 10 and May 22, 2022. Hopefully people will be smarter and see deeper on issues so they can be addressed with a clearer frame of mind going forward.
