Identity, race, nationality, culture and therefore are indicated to be emphasized during this period. What would a person’s personality actually be like if they didn’t have external cultural influences, media and peer pressure defining who they should be? Media could exploit racism as a political tool to create divisions.

Leadership roles and new leaders with new perspectives are likely to get a lot more attention. Heroism will be valued in some, and narcissism will be extra obvious in others. We could see religious leadership make news.

Chiron Retrograde stations Direct in Aries December 23, 2022 4:31 am ET.

Chiron has been working through Aries for years and now goes direct again this week. Shifts in how people see identity have been noticeable for years, as people redefine themselves. Whether people are pushing to hold their head high by asserting their own identity, or others are pouring salt in wounds and digging into long-standing emotional scars, everyone is being faced with and challenged by wounded egos in one way or another. Peer pressure in social circles, family and the media can define and label individuals according to prejudices and political angles. This is the time to assert yourself on your own terms to help heal yourself of all the wounds thrown at you from others. Don’t let any 3rd party identification usurp your own identity.

New Moon Capricorn December 23, 2022 5:16 am ET.

Now that the Sun is in Capricorn, we have the New Moon in Capricorn. With this being the domain of Pluto since 2008, we have to be conscious of destructive, transformative actions, especially in the political and financial spheres of influence.

The Sun and the New Moon in Capricorn are in conflict with Jupiter now fresh in Aries since December 20th. This can indicate the ego identity of the individual is enhanced and prioritized now, and can challenge plans and goals of those in positions of authority. New beginnings can be off to a big start, and any hurdles or obstacles can act as motivation. It would be wise to be careful of the main narratives being emphasized in the media now, as the information presented now can be intentionally misleading to push people into having certain worldviews and therefore act and react in predetermined ways. Every action has a reaction, and sometimes plans are made with a specific instigating point is designed to light a fuse for an intended outcome.
