Last week, a lot more attention has been on the air and water, as expected with Saturn finishing off in air sign Aquarius in just a couple of weeks, and entering water sign Pisces on March 7, 2023. A balloon in the sky, shot down and falling into the ocean is quite the link between Saturn in Aquarius and Pisces. Accountability and responsibility indicated by Saturn is in focus for the train derailment and spill in Ohio affecting air, water and land, that was (of course) not talked about in the mainstream media during the balloon distraction. Were the balloons a “look up here and not there” diversion, or a signal to pay attention, that there was something happening that we weren’t aware of? As expected associations to water, fish and liquids (including poisons) would be in larger focus during these time with planets in Pisces, and we see the pollution of the waterways and the death of fish.

This week we have greater attention on Pisces starts off with the New Moon in Pisces conjunct the Sun in Pisces (which entered February 18, 2023) setting the stage for growth over the next two weeks, and Venus leaves Pisces to enter Aries soon after.

New Moon in Pisces February 20, 2023 2:05 am ET

Pisces is the sign of spirituality, and water is a symbol of baptism, cleansing, purification and renewal. This time asks you to look deeper into your soul and purpose in the world. This could be the time to start creating a better flow in your life of holiness, kindness, forgiveness, generosity, faith and compassion.

A Moon in Pisces reminds us of mystical and metaphysical concepts, practices and healing. Showers, baths, steams, swimming, drinking teas and fresh juices, using essential oils, and the like are suggested to bring comfort, cleansing and peace.

If you are an artist and have been procrastinating, this is the time to get back into your craft. The process of creating, especially with an intuitive flow, can light a divine spark in you. This is a great time to try out water colors, inks and painting.

Those with addictions to alcohol and drugs as a tool to numb and suppress feelings, could use this time to start fresh and find new ways to deal with emotions that need healing. Those that express compassion and caring can touch your soul.

Hypersensitivity can indicate greater intuition and instincts. Dreams could be especially vivid and could give you clues for new directions.

Venus enters Aries February 20, 2023 2:56 am ET

Less than an hour after the New Moon in Pisces, Venus leaves Pisces to enter Aries.

Venus in Aries indicates new passion and desire in relationships. A feisty approach in attractions can be more noticeable as self expression can be energized.

Venus will conjunct Jupiter in Aries on March 2, 2023 and then conjunct Chiron in Aries on March 3, 2023. Venus meeting Jupiter is often considered to be highly auspicious, a positive sign. In relationships it can certainly be time to consider a romantic time for those with a big heart and a lot of love to share. More attention on looks and personality to define one’s identity is also indicated. Healing wounds that may still hurt as far back as childhood, especially feelings of rejection, can motivate one to seek more love and approval now.

With Mercury continuing in Aquarius this week, we’ll likely hear more information come out about what’s really been happening since Saturn entered Aquarius three years ago. Social media and media talking points that reaches and influences the mindset of collective society deserves to be analyzed.

Mercury in Aquarius connects with Chiron in Aries February 20, 2023 11:59 am ET. Sometimes embarrassment teaches the lesson of humility. If you are to speak about anything personal in a group setting or with friends, be sure that they can be trusted. Those that you know for sure really do care about you are the ones to connect with now.

Mercury in Aquarius is in difficulty with Uranus in Taurus February 21, 2023 5:22 pm ET. Strong opinions about the direction of the future could be on the lips of many. With conflict of what people want and expect of each other, including what people believe about money, ownership and possessions, we can expect disagreements can cause instability in social groups and friendships. Poor decisions that impact the security of money and jobs, food and farming, technology, energy and cyber-security could be obviously leading society down the wrong track now, and need to be seriously addressed as we head into the future.

Mercury in Aquarius connects with Mars in Gemini February 22, 2023 3:13 pm ET. The power of words can wake people up. Strong opinions about information related to science, technology, social media can stand out and shift the way people think. Speaking up can have quite an impact on the future. First instincts can often be right. Some people will be forceful in order to be heard. To avoid getting overly aggressive about information and opinions that are only superficial, putting more energy into research and analysis can open the mind and strengthen the validity of one’s opinion.

The Sun in Pisces connects with the Destiny Point in Taurus February 25, 2023 9:50 pm ET. If you’re unclear of the direction of your life and the bigger purpose, you could get some clues now. Pay attention to the subtle messages around you that you instinctively pick up on – those that may perk up your curiosity and get you thinking about what you want to do, be and have to feel like you’re creating the kind of karma for yourself and others you want to keep flowing into the future. A more philosophical perspective that feels both enlightening and grounding in the real world can change your view on what’s possible.
