Jupiter in Pisces May 13 to July 28, 2021. Big Waves. Floodgates Open.

Jupiter officially enters Pisces on May 13, 2021 at 6:36 pm ET.

Jupiter will only be in Pisces for a short period at the very early degrees of Pisces because Jupiter will be going Retrograde on June 20th, 2021 and then enter back into Aquarius on July 28, 2021.

During this short period of 2.5 months between mid-May and the end of July, we are likely to get a preview of what is to come in the future when Jupiter enters Pisces again after finishing up in Aquarius at the end of the year on December 28, 2021 and on into 2022.

Jupiter is co-ruler of Pisces along with Neptune, and Neptune has already been already been in Pisces for about a decade now.

Around the time when major planets move from one sign to another it can indicate a peak period of tension or change. Do you remember when Neptune was on the verge of entering Pisces in 2011? With coincidental timing on the day Uranus exited Pisces to enter Aries on March 11, 2011, that’s when we had the huge earthquake off the coast of Japan and the tsunami occurred seriously damaging the nuclear reactor at Fukushima.

As Jupiter is changing from an Air sign, to a Water sign we could see strong symbolism in the real world associated to air and water. We can expect literal floods during this period while Jupiter is in Pisces.

Especially with Jupiter changing signs, it can be a pivotal time with big news. Jupiter does rule the media and journalism so we can expect lots of news to be getting a lot of attention. The floodgates could open giving us insight into a lot of hidden information.

We could see a significant turning of the tide around this time.

Pisces is no shallow trickling stream, it is the vast unknown, the depths of the ocean and the heights of consciousness and space beyond comprehension and definition.

With Jupiter in Pisces, a lot more people are likely to wake up to a more spiritual perspective on life where people explore, study and think about the unknown. We could see more big news related to oceans and the water element during this time, symbolically associated to emotions and spirituality.

Whereas Capricorn is about chasing power and prestige, Pisces goes beyond the ego and is about surrender, and surrendering to something bigger than achievements in the material world.  Those that have tried tirelessly to achieve something could come to a point of accepting things as they are and “surrendering to God the things they can not change themselves.”

Pisces is the sign of spirituality, higher consciousness and the afterlife so we are likely to see people get more in touch with this expanded part of themselves and see the world from a more mystical and fantasy-like perspective with Jupiter in Pisces.

As Jupiter and Pisces bring wisdom and awareness we could have many revelations during this period.

As the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces is also the sign of endings, death and sacrifice that create change. We could see major sacrifices made for larger political purposes as was also strongly indicated when Mars was in Pisces in May of last year. Jupiter can bring us great awareness of secrets and big news, and in Pisces the floodgates of information could open that reveals a lot of what has been hidden. Jupiter bring a lot of emphasis associated with truth and justice and is known to reign down bolts of lightning in judgment, ultimately for the greater good. Keep in mind that you are likely to randomly hear the word “sacrifice” used in various connotations during this period.

Jupiter has a lot to do with beliefs, as does Pisces, so we could certainly see people’s beliefs get big attention during this period with faith and religious ideas in the spotlight. Jupiter emphasizes an open mind and a lot more people may find themselves open to new ideas and concepts that they usually don’t consider. We could see big news about religious figures during this time. We could also see a lot of advertising and marketing reaching around the world, catching people like fish in a net.

Pisces is such a watery, wishy-washy sign that can bring a lot of confusion, deception and secrets too, we just might see some hard-to-believe perspectives of reality that has a lot of people puzzled and feeling like we might be living in some kind of Twilight Zone Matrix.

With all that is learned during this period, it could lead to some major emotional reactions, especially for those that have been in denial, unaware and are just coming to terms with the truth of what’s really been going on behind the scenes in the larger picture of the world.

With Mercury going Retrograde at the end of May – as discussed in the May 2021 Monthly Astrology Horoscope – this further indicates confusion, mixed messages and deception as we head forward into June, as Mercury Retrograde emphasizes the trickster motif.

I think when people get a bigger glimpse of the larger reality during this period and the direction of our future, they will find themselves bewildered in many regards.

With Jupiter in Pisces, synchronicities are likely to be very abundant, and the timing of events, perspectives and realizations during this period could further have people feeling like we’re in a strange dream world.

We could also see a lot more interest in psychic phenomenon, and people interested in religious texts and end-times prophecies.

As Jupiter will be in Pisces briefly and then Retrograde back into Aquarius at the end of July, it emphasizes a link between the signs of Aquarius and Pisces, thus bringing attention to our collective consciousness and perceptions of reality.

Also considering we have Saturn in Aquarius really putting a lot of restrictions on groups and the peer pressure of group-think mentality is demanded by authority it can really feel like we’re in a period of forced control, particularly of mind control. Pisces doesn’t like the energy of being controlled and neither does Jupiter, so we could see a lot of people really wanting to expand beyond limitations imposed now. This can lead to a stronger desire for escapism where people may prefer to enter into a dreamworld to escape and shut off the issues in the material world. This can lead people to excesses in drinking, drugs and games like gambling to try to get away from it all.

With Jupiter leaving Aquarius, we could see some changes highlighted now that are associated to current restrictions Saturn in Aquarius represents.

We could also see opposition to scientific thought and medicine, and see a plethora of deceptions and hidden secrets in the field. Many more people will seek wellness alternatives, including metaphysical healing.

Compassion and caring will be more in focus, but because we have increased deceptions as a possibility, particularly in the media and through beliefs, ideas presented and pushed can be used to manipulate the naive and good hearted to make personal sacrifices and compromises through the use of guilt. Contradictions of information can have people doubting the storyline presented and looking toward a more holistic approach. During this period more could choose to put more trust in faith over “facts.”

Of course I will be talking more about what’s going on with Jupiter in Pisces as we continue through this period in the Weekly Astrology Horoscopes published every Monday.

NEW Mercury in Pisces March 15, 2021

Mercury enters Pisces on March 15, 2021 at 6:25 pm ET

Mercury will be in Pisces for a short time, only until April 3, 2021.

This is a good time to get your mind in line with your spirituality. Reading more books and articles on spiritual and philosophical topics is highly recommended to help center yourself before Mercury Retrograde arrives.

Intuition, imagination and creativity are usually quite heightened with Mercury in Pisces. This is a great time to write poetry, listen to music like binaural beats and explore realms of consciousness with visualization and meditation practices.

In the realm of Pisces, logical thinking could be more cloudy and unfocused than usual, and forgetfulness could be more frequent. So, when you have any creative and brilliant ideas floating around in your mind, it would be wise to capture them immediately by writing them down, or else they are likely to pass by like clouds.

The mind under the influence of drugs and alcohol inebriation is exemplary of this placement. Those with addictions may find this is a time to acknowledge how the addiction is influencing your life. As Pisces is an emotional sign, if you find yourself to lack emotional connection to others, that’s a strong sign that your addictions may have made you numb. In such cases, Mercury in Pisces can remind us to practice healing the mind and getting back in touch with ourselves on a soul level.

Spiritual practices like Yoga and Tai Chi are suggested as part of waking yourself up to a more enlightening approach to life.

In relationships, a more sympathetic approach to others is recommended when Mercury is in Pisces. A meeting of minds with empathy and sensitivity to the thoughts and feelings of others is suggested. Compassionate, kinder interactions will be good for your karma.

Shyness, internalized thinking patterns and an introverted perspective is likely to be enhanced when Mercury is in Pisces as well. This time signifies turning to prayer and connection with a higher wisdom, abstract philosophical thinking and religious, spiritual thought.

An interest in learning more about secret wisdom and the wonders of life’s mysterious, ancient cultural beliefs, ancestry, life after death, karma and magical, esoteric perspectives of existence is indicated with Mercury in Pisces. It’s a great time to look up at the stars and contemplate the meaning of your life.

Pisces is also about sacrifices, self sacrifice and martyrdom where giving of the self, rising above the ego-self to benefit another is symbolized.

Thinking about relatives and ancestors that have passed away is common with Mercury in Pisces.

Spending time near bodies of water, especially the ocean, can help clear and balance your mind. A walk on the beach would be ideal.

Many secrets could come out in the open while Mercury is in Pisces.

New Moon in Pisces March 13, 2021 to the Full Moon in Libra March 28, 2021

It’s officially a New Moon in Pisces on March 13, 2021 at 5:24 am ET.

This is when the Moon meets the Sun in Pisces before the Spring Equinox which is coming up on March 20th, to start an all new astrological year once the Sun enters Aries.

It’s been a whole year since Friday the 13th, 2020 – that’s when everything started to change.

Last year, around this time we had Saturn first entering Aquarius and we had the Destiny Point in Cancer. That’s when we started to see social distancing and people moving toward staying at home. Saturn in Aquarius represents limitations on our social lives, and Cancer represents home and personal safety / comfort. We also had Mars entering Aquarius soon after indicating more tension and battles in our social lives.

This year, we have the New Moon in Pisces on March 13th to begin a new period of growth toward the Full Moon in Libra on March 28, 2021 at 2:45 pm ET.

I talk all about it in your New Moon in Pisces Astrology Horoscope here…
