Pluto is currently Retrograde in Capricorn from April 30 to October 4, 2020.

Pluto is the slowest moving planet and has been in Capricorn since January 2008 and influences a period of an entire generation. Pluto will be in Capricorn until November 19, 2024.

During this period, Pluto stations Retrograde every year.

Pluto, of the Roman pantheon, rules over the underworld, and is associated with the Greek Hades. Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio and rules over the unconscious, deeply buried emotions, secrets and the hidden truths. Pluto is also most notably associated with the Phoenix symbolism of rising from the ashes, transformed, changed, renewed and reborn after death and destruction.

Pluto in Capricorn can bring a lot of fear, and Retrograde encourages us to release fear and purge negativity from our lives by acknowledging and addressing the roots and causes of our fears. Whether it be negative people, ideologies, or financial burdens and debt that are holding you back, this is the time to remove the sludge from your life so you can become more empowered.

Pluto also rules the 8th house, governed by Scorpio and is concerned with wealth, banking, taxes, stocks, bonds, insurance, wills, inheritances. We could certainly see issues of money laundering, tax evasion and other sneaky money matters and dirty business deals come out in the open. Pluto also rules sexual perversions to the level of abuse so we could see even more of those types of secrets get revealed, especially regarding well known and famous people. Remember what happened precisely when Jupiter entered Scorpio and all the abuses started to get revealed in Hollywood like clockwork. Pluto rules over the Scorpio water sign and is associated with the deep, dark swampy lagoon type of depths of reality. Yikes!

Pluto in Capricorn doesn’t exactly come across as positive, but that’s reality. Our world is a grand chessboard of positive and negative and it’s all part of the whole package.

Capricorn is an earth sign and is of course associated with our goals and achievements in the material world and money matters, social class, reputation and public awareness, with a particular focus on leadership, officials and authority figures in high places, from business and banking to political structures, as well as religious orders and military powers.

As we have seen there has been a lot of messiness in the political world these days, but that is exactly what Pluto will emphasize in Capricorn. Pluto is associated with the crumbling of the old system to establish and transform what has been hidden deep in the dark underbelly of the political world and higher echelons of power in our society. Pluto reduces and destroys to recreate, restructure and rebuild.

With Pluto going Retrograde we are going to see another power switch, a turning of the tables from the direction things have been heading politically. Those in positions of authority are likely to have much revealed about their dirty handiwork.

When we see a planet like Pluto going forward and retrograde, it is a cycle of change and development that takes a long time. Pluto wants to the know the truth and is a sleuth ready and willing to investigate and go to any ends to find the truth of what’s really going on. Digging up lots of the nastiest dirt behind the scenes is inevitable, and most notably the way the news has been going for years, there is plenty of evidence that Pluto is taking charge of reconstructing the political realm and it certainly is messy and heavy hitting stuff!

We are also likely to see more talk of the sneaky activity with technology giants, listening in, hidden records and getting deep into the personal, secret lives of people.

Pluto in Capricorn can be very revealing, so we can expect plenty of revelations to come to the surface as Pluto goes deeper than ever into the abyss of layers behind the scenes.

Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn is sure to break up patterns and create dramatic shifts in our perspective of reality. Events in the real world have far reaching consequences. Pluto can be associated with the eruption and explosive energy of a volcano or likened to the Eye of Sauron in the Lord of the Rings. It’s that kind of massive power. Pluto is the higher octave of Mars, the warrior.

We could see more earth changes, earthquakes, volcanoes and the like impact, shift and alter the physical landscape while Pluto is in Capricorn.

Pluto also rules oil, the valuable black gold that keeps our society running. Perhaps we will see events that impacts prices during Pluto Retrograde.

Pluto in Capricorn

Pluto is in Capricorn from January 25, 2008 to November 19, 2024.

Capricorn is associated with establishment and structure and the higher goals one wishes to achieve in life. It is reputation, leadership and climbing that mountain to reach the highest summit. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, which is also in Capricorn now.

Though, in political terms the established rules and policies of larger society are top consideration, in our bodies, Capricorn rules the bones and thus the spine as well. So, on a personal level, do take extra care of your body’s structure during this time. Foods high in calcium are recommended, but I would recommend learning more about Vitamin D and Vitamin K2 in relation to calcium.

Strength training of your back is highly recommended. Pay more attention to your  posture when sitting and standing. Stretch and ensure you are going through ranges of motion so you have more limber flexibility of movement as well. As always, I recommend yoga of course. This can be a great time to remove toxins from your body as Pluto is concerned with purging.

This is also a good time to consider how you have not been achieving your goals and to remove/purge negativity from your life that is keeping you from reaching those higher aims. What have you been putting off, or how have you not been leading your life effectively in the direction you really want? Consider how you need to change so you can be a more powerful leader in your own life so you can achieve bigger goals that matter to you. This is a time of self awareness and facing facts about your life and your relationship to the world around you.

When it comes to your individual power, this is a time to look at how you are being an author of your own life. Each of us need to look at what isn’t working and decide what it is we each want to manifest in the world. What you may have thought you wanted for a long time could changing significantly putting you on a completely different path.

Capricorn is associated to Capitalism. Pluto in Capricorn is the destruction of capitalism in many regards, as a process of transformation in political and business power in the world.

Pluto in Capricorn is largely concerned with the transformation of politics, power and shifts in the business world. Pluto is concerned with wealth and so of course is associated to finance and banking structures and systems in Capricorn. All earth signs are concerned with the realm of materialism, the physical material world and thus of course money. See Uranus in Taurus.

Pluto can be highly destructive to what is established as it forces change to even a seemingly apocalyptic level. Pluto wants the truth, and will ensure all kinds of dirt and dirty deeds from behind the scenes is dug up so truth is revealed. All sorts of corruption in politics and business is sure to come out in the open. We could see a lot of leadership issues come up and a powerful transformation of the political landscape throughout the world. A dismantling and crumbling of the long held authority, power structures and hierarchy systems in the world is likely to cause dramatic changes internationally.

Pluto in Capricorn can bring many revelations awakening people to a completely changed perception of reality.

Astrologically, Pluto is considered to be the higher octave of Mars, and Pluto is the Roman equivalent of the Greek Hades.

Lots of battles of egos and power are certainly in the crosshairs. All of the issues we’ve been seeing with the conflicts in the media and power, with protests and people seeking the truth, have been a convoluted mess leaving people unsure of who and what to believe anymore.

The structure of our society is changing. The ego and competitiveness take a strong lead towards the transformation of our world.
